I’ve been asked a few times now if my alphapoints rules and modifications are applicable to DOCman 1.4.x or DOCman 1.5.x, the rules themselves we’re put in when Alphapoints were first released way back when it was still beta if i recall so yes they very likely could be greatly improved. However they are fully functional with both DOCman 1.4.x and DOCman 1.5.x and according to users that have come back to they both work perfectly fine with the latest version of alphapoints.

I do have some ideas for upgrades to all 3 of my currently releases addons just to tighten up what’s already in place, as yet I have received only only bug report which turned out to be a user errors so that’s a promising sign. Hopefully the new tiny features will be further appreciated by those that make use of them and I can get to adding even more micro addons for the mass of Joomla! components out on the JED.

I am currently in the midst of putting together a JomSocial plugin that’ll bring a new feature to that platform, if it turns out to be of interest to anyone is up for debate but it combines a few of the things i like to do on the net on a regular basis so i think it’ll be worthwhile :)
